Southdown Roofing provide quality roofing services in Sussex, Hampshire, Kent and Surrey. Their old website was dated and tired. They chose me to design them a new site because they liked the work I had done for other local trades.

A prospective customer looks for trust, professionalism and guarantee in a roofing company. If you have a leaky roof you’re going to choose a roofing company that responds quickly to your enquiry. A company that gives you confidence their work will be carried out to a high standard. The new website needed to communicate this.

For Southdown Roofing the goal for the website was to drive new business enquiries right across their service area.

Built for SEO

My first task involved keyword analysis and researching competitors’ websites across the service area. I presented the findings to Southdown Roofing and we discussed ideas for the site structure. Once agreed, I produced the content for the website pages, making sure it both informed customers and provided Google with plenty of SEO friendly text.

Built to generate leads

Customers can quickly and easily request a call back using a ‘Get in Touch’ contact form which has a prominent position within the sidebar. The bright orange ‘Call Me Back’ button stands out as the focal point on the screen. Anti-spam controls were added to prevent junk email submissions.

The website has a mobile first, responsive design. Comprehensive testing and quality control has ensured it displays and performs optimally on mobiles, tablets and pcs.

I created a Google Adwords advertising campaign that targets customers in key geographical locations. The adverts direct customers to optimised landing pages on the website.
